because of my mild obession with reading...(and the fact that i was new to the dc area) i wanted to start a book club for women of color, a place where we could connect and just talk with each other about literature and anything else under the sun...the club scene is tired...okay, so if you saw me at the club last friday, so what, i gotta shake it like a poloroid sometimes...but i got politic on another level...get to another layer of the onion. ya heard?
